Bio
Claudia Aizaga is an Ecuadorian flutist, educator and new music advocate. She is a founding member of both the Diverge Trio and the Newphonia Ensemble, a chamber group dedicated to performing the works of living composers and new commissions for their unique instrumentation (flute, oboe, piano, mezzo-soprano and double bass). Claudia has served as a teacher through Interlochen Center for the Arts, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the non-profit Ecuadorian Foundation of Community and Social Support FACES, as well as “El Sistema” at the FOSJE foundation in Ecuador for the last nine years.
